she makes a very good point. there are so many in this world who are not required to have a brain, in fact the lack thereof in many cases is a virtue. not just the skin biz, but the office or even the coffee shop i work at. we're very good at deciding who in our world who must have brains without looks and who must have looks devoid of brains. amazingly when everyone understands their role clearly the machine runs smooth, its when someone decides they no longer can accept their role is when things get good and messy.
In my mind, the sad thing is how many people are content to be mindless. I think it's an unfortunate outcome of our "common sense' heritage. Many people I talk to are opinionated about ideas that they have not thought through but which seem to be the "natural" thing to believe.
