this is a shot from the annual burning man fest in the desert of...i think nevada. it's an all out freak fest in the middle of the desert. i'd love to check it out someday. i have a bunch more pictures of all the hyjinkes that goes on there, but this image struck me as particularly poignent.
My friend's dad is a news videographer and I saw some footage he shot while covering the fest about ten years ago. It's a desert freeforall that is aims to be the apogee of deconstruction, relativism, and anarchism.
