speaking of mr. che. check out 'the motorcycle diaries'. it's a surprisingly refreshing unpolitical film about an icon that classic political idiots love to abuse.
i loved the film- it was more about his personal formation and the events that helped him arrive at his worldview than about the revolutionary events he was involved in later.
Chuck i couldnt agree more with you. here's a little story. since my high school days i have liked "Che" and what he represents in México. anyways, i had a t-shirt with the che on it, and when i arrived to chicago there was this dude that came to me and said, hey cool shirt, i like rage against the machine too". i wanted to slap him so bad.
